We are book-smart word nerds for hire.

Our philosophy:

Literature is a wonderful pursuit, and editing and writing for a living is a fulfilling profession, so ours is a happy life, and we’re passionate about what we do. What’s our overarching stance on editing? We’re basically here to offer you sound editorial advice. We respect your style, don’t tamper with idiomatic usage, and know when to make an editorial change (or when simply to suggest it), preferring a light editorial hand over a heavy one. This is what we bring to the table with every editing project we take on.

It’s vital that our style of reading, writing, and editing meshes with yours, because that’s what we’re considering before working on your project. See our article on the topic, The Alchemy of Editing, which explains why choosing an editor carefully is so important.

What do services cost?

Each individual book project and author has different needs, but for some general guidelines, please visit our Editorial Services page. Also see the Editorial Freelancers Association.
